Ambling 1 & 2

Because of the large and enthusiastic demand to be included in the Ambling group - 38 members at the last count, I have decided to split the group into two, the second half of the group to go out on the second Thursday of the month; same walks, same me as group leader. this will of course make the walks much more manageable.

We meet on the first Thursday (Group 1) and second Thursday (Group 2) of the month in Secretts Farm Shop car park, Milford at 10 am.

Walks are subject to change if circumstances are likely to make them difficult , such as thick mud or a field of cows (Some members are very wary of them). There are alternative walks:

River Wey / Unstead — Mousehill / Common — Enton / Witley
Thursley Area — River Wey / Broadwater / Peasemarsh

and many more I can dream up. Most of these will be incorporated into next seasons Ambling. I’m sure, like me, you’re looking forward to a season of pleasant walks and enjoyable camaraderie. I look forward to seeing you in Secretts Farm Shop Car Park on the 1st. or 8th of September.
